[Invasion of Colors]

I actually get an incredibly Renaissance vibe from this; like peter Bruegel. I am a huge fan of painters at that time and still study their work.

I love how many characters you have and how much is actually going on is amazing. I think that if you had a mid-tone background it Really would have brought out all your wonderful details and color; specifically, like a teabag kind of wash (using used teabags for traditional work also adds a really cool texture).

Yeah, a teabag effect would look cool. I have used that technique before too, thought not recently but not that you mention, perhaps I will. Thank you for your comment. I was happy to read.

This is really amazing I love your sepia color scheme and how you decided to portray your concept by using various art styles almost like shadows. The fish eye view adds a wonderful effect and a lot of depth.

Thank you for your positive feedback! My five-point perspective is far from perfect, but I hope the drawing is enough complex to hide it ;-)
in my original concept, there should be van Gogh like waves with battleships, but I had to make a balance between curvy and straight lines, so I ended up with the pixel art squid :-)

That dragon is savage! And totally took me off guard since I didn't notice it in the thumbnail lol.
You have great proportions and silhouettes especially working in the contorted characters which still feels very natural in a surreal sort of way.

You did an amazing job combining the 2 pieces because I would never have realized without you mentioning it.
